This type of printing is very popular for its flexibility and depth, but is only available for large sizes that are not covered by direct acrylic glass printing.
The choice of paper and printing
The standard paper used for real photo printing is the Fuji Crystal DP II, for sharp contrasts. The photo collage is then obtained by laser printing and then by the traditional photo development process.
The support and laminating
The image thus obtained is then laminated to a Dibond aluminum plate, a stable support composed of two aluminum layers enclosing a polyethylene core. An acrylic glass plate is then placed and sealed with a layer of silicone on the photo, for a result free of bubbles or cracks. The thickness of the acrylic glass plate is 2mm and is suitable for any type of exposure because it enhances colors while adding depth to your print.
Size and frames
This print isn’t available in many formats and only in large sizes: 150×100, 160×120 and 180×120. The frame is offered as an option, to give even more character to your collage. You will have the choice between several models, materials and colors to find the combination that will enhance your final picture. Slimline trim is also available as an option for a sober and clean finish.
Suspensions
Every photo collage comes with a suspension system compatible for display on rails. The type of hook will be different depending on the size of the final picture. For a side between 50 and 100cm, the suspension will be plastic hooks. Beyond a 100cm side, the suspension will be aluminum rails.
The ArtSecurity packaging
In order for your photo to be delivered without any issue, it will be protected by an ArtSecurity WhiteWall packaging. It is cut to size and folded by CNC machines to form a protective envelope around your collage. Your frame will be placed face down on a larger thick cardboard before being covered by a protective film. This allows to protect it on the corners and from any shock on the front. It will then be packed in a large, firm cardboard box and blocked with polystyrene if necessary.
To send you jumbles larger than 100cm, the delivery will be in a wooden packaging made to measure as below.
